We do more shave-downs after it has snowed than at any time of the year.

Every “snowball” dangling off your dog acts like a child holding a ribbon on a Maypole – result - disaster!

Matts EVERYWHERE.

When you get home:

Stand your dog in a sink of warm water to melt the snowballs or shower them with warm water to remove them.

Then BLOT your dog dry – DO NOT RUB!!!

Spray with a de-tangle solution

& Dry with a hair dryer, brushing or combing the fur as you dry it.

Finally, remember to keep the fur between your dog’s toes very short and prevent balls of ice forming in their feet by thoroughly coating the underside of the foot with Vaseline.

Whilst watching your dog “walking on stilts” may look funny, its agony for the dog.
